ShopiHunt Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026. This policy explains how ShopiHunt handles information when you use the extension.

About This Policy

ShopiHunt – Shopify Product Research & Profit Calculator helps merchants research public store catalogs, estimate profit, and organize suppliers, samples, quality checks and influencer collaborations. This policy covers the extension. The website hosting this policy may have its own privacy practices.

Privacy at a Glance

Your information supports the features you choose to use.

Workspace records and preferences are stored locally in your browser. The current version does not upload them to a developer-operated server.

The extension identifies the current website when you open its interface and retrieves public store information when you request analysis.

Store Research
No Data Sales

ShopiHunt does not sell user data or use workspace records for advertising, creditworthiness assessments or lending decisions.

Limited Use

Information We Handle

ShopiHunt handles the information needed for the features you use: store names, URLs, analysis dates, public product details, images, variants, prices and page links; product prices, costs, fees and profit calculations; supplier and influencer names, company details, email addresses, phone numbers and profile links; quotations, sample records, inspection scores, defects, photo links, campaign deliverables, fees, payment status, deadlines and notes; and your language preference. Contact and business records are entered by you. ShopiHunt does not request passwords, payment card details or access to private Shopify administration data. It does not record keystrokes or track your general browsing activity.

How We Use Information

Information is used to provide store analysis, product exports, profit estimates and your merchant workspace. Analyzed store URLs and results may be saved so you can revisit them. Contact records support your own supplier and collaboration management. The extension does not automatically contact suppliers or influencers.

Storage, Retention and Deletion

Workspace records and preferences use local browser extension storage. Temporary analysis results may use browser session storage. The current version does not provide cloud synchronization. Records remain until you delete them through available controls, clear extension data or uninstall the extension. Older analysis details may be reduced to stay within browser storage limits. Exported CSV files remain wherever you save them; clearing extension data does not delete those files.

Connections to External Websites

Store analysis makes requests to the store you choose. Displaying store logos, product images or photo links may also contact the websites hosting those resources. These websites may receive normal connection information, such as your IP address and the requested resource URL, and handle it under their own privacy policies. Opening external store pages, influencer profiles or the Chrome Web Store is subject to the destination website’s policies.

Extension Permissions

activeTab: identifies the current website when you open the extension.
scripting: runs packaged code to detect public store information.
storage: saves records, preferences and temporary analysis results.
sidePanel: provides the extension’s side panel.
Optional website access: retrieves public information from a store you choose to analyze, after permission is granted.

Sharing and Limited Use

ShopiHunt does not sell user data or upload workspace records to the developer for advertising or unrelated purposes. Information accessed through extension permissions is used only to provide the extension’s disclosed features, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You control whether to export records or share exported files with others.

Your Choices and Security

You can edit or delete records where controls are available, revoke website permissions through Chrome, clear extension data or uninstall the extension. Local browser storage is not a separately encrypted vault. Protect access to your device and browser profile. Avoid entering passwords, payment card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the extension’s features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
